Terms of Use

1. Description of Service

CareerIQ provides an AI-assisted career intelligence report ("Hiring Confidence Report") that analyzes a user's digital career presence across 14 signals based on information provided by the user. The report is an analytical interpretation tool and is not a recruitment service, job placement service, or career coaching service.

2. Digital Product — No Physical Delivery

CareerIQ reports are digital products delivered exclusively via email and/or a secure web URL. There is no physical product, no DVD, no printed document, and no in-person service involved in this transaction.

3. Refund Policy

A. Hiring Confidence Report (₹999) — Standard Refund Conditions:

We offer a refund under the following circumstances only:

a) Report Not Delivered: If you do not receive your report within 72 hours of completing your intake form (or within 4 hours if you purchased Express Delivery), you are entitled to a full refund upon request.

b) Report Not Generated: If our system fails to generate a report due to a technical error on our part, you are entitled to a full refund.

c) Value Guarantee: If you genuinely feel the report did not provide at least 5 specific, actionable insights you were not previously aware of, you may request a refund within 48 hours of receiving your report by emailing hello@thecareeriq.com with your order ID and specific feedback.

B. Growth Plans, Starter Plans & Growth (LinkedIn Only) Plans — Refund Conditions:

Growth Plans, Starter Plans, and Growth (LinkedIn Only) Plans are comprehensive, personalised career transformation services that involve significant manual expert effort, custom deliverables, and ongoing execution over multiple days. Due to the nature of these services, the refund policy is as follows:

a) Eligibility for Refund: A refund request for Growth, Starter, or Growth (LinkedIn Only) plans will ONLY be considered if ALL of the following conditions are met:

• The user has received all deliverables included in the purchased plan in full
• The user has demonstrably and completely implemented ALL recommendations, suggestions, changes, and action items provided in the deliverables — including but not limited to LinkedIn profile rewrites, resume updates, keyword optimisations, content calendar execution, and outreach scripts
• The user provides documentary evidence (screenshots, before/after LinkedIn profile states, application logs, or other reasonable proof) that all suggested steps were followed correctly and completely
• A minimum waiting period of 30 days has elapsed after full implementation of all recommended changes, during which the user has actively applied to relevant roles and/or maintained the recommended LinkedIn activity
• The refund request is submitted within 45 days of the delivery of the final deliverable
• The user has not violated any of the terms stated herein

b) Non-Refundable Circumstances for Growth/Starter/LinkedIn Plans: No refund shall be issued under any of the following circumstances:

• The user has not implemented the recommended changes fully or correctly
• The user partially implemented recommendations and expected results without complete execution
• The user is dissatisfied with the quality of deliverables but has not provided specific, actionable feedback within 7 days of receiving each deliverable
• The user expected guaranteed interview calls, job offers, salary hikes, or any specific career outcome (we explicitly do not guarantee any outcome — see Section 4)
• Market conditions, hiring freezes, industry downturns, or other external factors beyond our control affected the user's job search
• The user changed career goals, target roles, or industries after deliverables were created
• The user did not respond to our team's follow-up communications within 7 days, thereby delaying or preventing delivery
• More than 45 days have passed since the final deliverable was delivered
• The user simply changed their mind or no longer wishes to pursue a job change
• The user purchased the plan for someone else without disclosing this at the time of purchase

c) Partial Refunds: If deliverables have been partially delivered and the user requests cancellation before full delivery, a partial refund may be issued at our sole discretion, proportionate to the work not yet delivered, minus a 25% service and administration fee to account for the setup, analysis, and expert time already expended.

d) Dispute Resolution for Plan Refunds: All refund disputes for Growth, Starter, and Growth (LinkedIn Only) plans shall be first addressed via email communication at hello@thecareeriq.com. The Company reserves the right to request and review all evidence of implementation before processing any refund. The Company's decision on refund eligibility, after reviewing evidence, shall be final and binding subject to applicable Indian consumer protection laws.

C. General Refund Exclusions (Applicable to All Plans):

No refund will be issued if:

• You have received and accessed your deliverables and the applicable refund window has passed
• You did not submit the required intake form or information within 7 days of purchase (your order will be considered abandoned)
• You provided incomplete, false, or inaccurate information that prevented accurate analysis or deliverable creation
• You purchased expecting guaranteed career outcomes (see Section 4 — No Guarantee of Outcomes)
• You changed your mind about purchasing after deliverables were generated
• You claim dissatisfaction without providing specific, written reasons when requested

D. Refund Process:

• Email hello@thecareeriq.com within the applicable refund window for your plan type
• Include your full name, order ID, plan purchased, and specific detailed reason for refund request
• For Growth/Starter/LinkedIn plans: include evidence of full implementation as described in Section 3B(a) above
• Refunds, if approved, are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
• Payment gateway transaction fees (Razorpay/Stripe processing fees) are non-refundable as per payment processor policies

4. No Guarantee of Career Outcomes

CareerIQ provides data-driven analysis, personalised recommendations, and career intelligence services. We explicitly and unequivocally DO NOT guarantee any specific career outcome whatsoever. Without limitation, this includes:

• Interview calls, interview shortlisting, or job offers of any kind
• Recruiter responses, inbound messages, or outreach from any company
• Employment, promotion, salary increase, or career advancement
• Specific score improvements on any platform or system
• LinkedIn profile views, connection requests, or search appearances
• Any particular career, financial, or professional outcome

All services provided by CareerIQ — including Hiring Confidence Reports, Growth Plans, Starter Plans, Growth (LinkedIn Only) Plans, LinkedIn Rewrites, Resume Rewrites, and any other deliverables — are advisory and informational in nature. They represent our expert analysis and best recommendations based on current market understanding.

Results vary significantly based on individual profiles, market conditions, industry demand, geographic location, experience level, economic environment, hiring cycles, and most critically, the user's own implementation, effort, and consistency in applying the recommendations.

Testimonials, case studies, and success stories shown on our website, emails, or marketing materials represent individual experiences of specific users and are NOT typical results. They do not constitute a promise, projection, or guarantee of similar outcomes for any other user. Past performance of other users does not guarantee future results for you.

By purchasing any CareerIQ service, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) you are purchasing expert analysis, recommendations, and deliverables — not outcomes; (b) the Company has no control over your implementation, the job market, or hiring decisions made by third parties; and (c) you will not hold the Company liable for any career outcome or lack thereof.

This clause is in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), which recognises that service providers offering advisory or analytical services cannot be held liable for outcomes that depend on third-party decisions and user implementation. Nothing in our marketing materials shall be construed as a guarantee of results under Section 2(28) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

5. Accuracy of Analysis

Our reports are generated using AI-assisted analysis based solely on the information you provide. The accuracy of your report depends directly on the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. We are not responsible for inaccurate analysis resulting from:

• Incomplete or incorrect information provided by you
• LinkedIn profile data that is outdated or inaccurate
• Resume content that does not accurately represent your experience
• Job descriptions that are not representative of your target roles

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the CareerIQ website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the "14-Signal Framework," "Hiring Confidence Report" methodology, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Aykaa and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our report methodology or framework
• Resell or share your report with third parties for commercial purposes
• Claim our methodology or analysis framework as your own
• Use our brand name, logo, or trademarks without written permission

Your personal report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Third-Party Brands and Trademarks

CareerIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn™, Naukri™, Indeed™, Google™, McKinsey™, or any other company mentioned on our website. All third-party trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for informational and identification purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• CareerIQ's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for your report
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or career-related losses
• We are not liable for any decision made by you or any third party based on the information in your report

9. User Conduct

By using CareerIQ, you agree that:

• All information you provide is accurate and belongs to you
• You will not use our service for any unlawful purpose
• You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our analysis methodology
• You are at least 18 years of age

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and all applicable rules and regulations thereunder.

Any disputes arising from these Terms, your use of CareerIQ services, or the delivery/non-delivery of any service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

In case of a dispute, you agree to first attempt good-faith resolution by contacting us at hello@thecareeriq.com with full details of your complaint. If the dispute remains unresolved within 30 days of our acknowledgement, either party may refer the dispute to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, in Bengaluru, India, by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon or appointed in accordance with the Act. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on both parties.

You agree that you shall not initiate or participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against the Company. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
